Job Requirement: The System Administrators’ role is to build, configure, deploy, support, and maintain HP servers running Microsoft Windows as well as hosted applications from an OS perspective. The role will support VMWare ESX, Terminal Server, Citrix, Active Directory, Patchlink, etc. The System Administrator should resolve complex hardware and software integration issues, interfacing with database administration, software development, network support personnel, and vendors to coordinate solutions. Provide guidance to junior level staff when necessary and create periodic status reports for management.



Skills: Senior experience in Windows 2000/2003 Administration and HP/Compaq Proliant servers (e.g. Proliant DL320-DL585).

Must possess technical knowledge in various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues and problems.



Software: Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 various editions, IIS, Veritas NetBackup, HP Insight Mgr., Virtual Servers hosted on VMware ESX, Patchlink, Symantec End Protection (Anti-virus), MS Terminal Server, ODBC, FTP, TCP/IP, HP RDP, Microsoft WDS/MDT/SCCM, BMC Patrol, BMC Remedy.

Preferred: Citrix Presentation Server, VMWare ESX.



Education: BS in Computer Science or related discipline.



Experience: Five years of experience supporting and servicing Open System environments with emphasis on Windows 2000/2003.

Enterprise financial services experience preferred
