Job Requirement: Business Analyst
Location: BELLEVUE, WA (locals preferred)
Duration: 12 + Months
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Minimum Required Skills:
FUNCTIONAL and TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, and create deliverables with some direction
Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous process documentation and project artifacts
Some exposure to business process and system modeling tools (data flow diagrams, process documentation, etc.)
Advanced skills/expertise with MS Excel, Project
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role
Experience in telecommunications industry preferred
COMPETENCIES:
Flexibility and resiliency a fast-paced business environment
Interpersonal, relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills
Preferred skills:
Learning Management System Experience
The RPS channel will be the priority of this effort with the secondary focus on synergies across all customer channels.
The RPS effort will include the identification of process improvement by identifying all customer groups (users), updating the business requirements, current and future state process flows. Upon completion of the requirements and process flow documentation and analysis, the level of effort will be assigned. Issues identified as having a low level of effort to resolve will be classified as top priority for completion. This prioritized effort will include the vendor, Plateau, in any necessary gap analysis and review.
The secondary focus will include gathering and finalizing business requirements, current and future state process flows. A business case will be developed to include medium and high level of effort issues to create a complete picture of the business opportunity to achieve funding prioritization through the feasibility process.
The specific HRES deliverables that will be associated with these efforts include:
Planning Schedule
HRES Workshops
Gather Historical As-Is/To-Be Process Flows
Interview HRES Subject Matter Experts
Update Draft BRD and Process Flows to Streamline Workshops
Prepare Draft Requirements Matrix
Customer Validation Workshops and Business Requirements Documentation
Workshops will be broken into five areas of focus: Registration, Data Mgmt/Hierarchy, Administration and Reporting. All of these focus areas will have the following deliverables:

Use Case Diagrams
Requirements Matrix
Level of Effort Identification
Assign LOE to associated transactions and To-Be Processes
Compile Low LOE, RPS specific, transactions for Immediate Resolution
Compile Med & High, by channel, transactions for Future Resolution
Gap Analysis
Engage Plateau for Gap Analysis
Document Gaps
